Delete your Instonic account and data

This page explains how to delete your account in the Instonic app (package com.instonic.app) and exactly what happens to your data.

Option 1 – Delete it yourself in the app (instant)

    Open Instonic and sign in with the Google account you used.

  2. 2

    Open the menu, go to Settings, and tap your name / email at the top to open Account.

  3. 3

    Tap Delete Account.

    Tick "I understand this cannot be undone" and confirm.

Deletion starts immediately. If the app asks you to sign out and sign back in first, that is a security check – do it and try again.

Option 2 – Ask us to delete it (if you can't open the app)

Email [email protected] from the address linked to your Google account, with the subject "Delete my Instonic account". We will confirm your request and complete it within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your profile and sign-in (name, email address, user ID)
  • Your cloud Library backup
  • Your saved collections and cloud GIF data
  • Your usage and quota records
  • Your app activity events linked to your user ID
  • Your support tickets and messages
  • The link between your account and your Premium subscription

What is kept, and for how long

Subscription and payment records
Held by Google Play, not by us. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription – cancel it in Google Play → Subscriptions.
Anonymous crash and performance reports
Not linked to your identity; kept by our analytics providers under their standard retention periods.
Records we must keep by law
Only where a legal obligation requires it, and only for as long as it does.

Files you downloaded to your own phone stay on your phone. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes the local copy and local Library.
